The students were great, the sponsors and helpers unified and working together, and the food hit the spot. God moved through the camp, spoke through all the speakers and changed lives this weekend. Let’s pray that those who encountered God continue in Him as they return home.

My speaking was set for the evening, which meant that I ate just enough at supper to keep my stomach from growling, but not enough to be full. This was not the fault of the cooks, no sir, but rather my own nervous stomach. God spoke through this broken vessel – as I said, if it was good, it was from God – if it was bad, it was from Isaiah <img

I am now well, no dizziness or other things, so I’m praising God for that.

Tomorrow we’ll start up the Genesis blogs, and get back into the swing of things.

Lessons I learned, or re-learned, from this week of camp:

God is awesome, He is good, and He still speaks.

hiatus

personal
<guid

Proverbs is currently the leader, but I’m open to either Genesis, Proverbs, or even something in the New Testament.

p.s. Aaron Justice’s comment that we should study Dianetics was hilarious, but also sacrastic <img

My dad yelled down, “Do you guys want to see your new baby sister?” We both threw the controllers down (Nintendo knows how to make tough controllers) and ran upstairs. I was so proud, and I even wanted to take her to Show-N-Tell. I was pretty sad when Mom said no, but now that I actually know things about babies, I kind’ve understand. Walking to school that day with Grandma and Grandpa, talking about my new sister, is one of the most vivid memories I have.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to my sister (and myself). 29 – 20 = 9 years.
